2015年6月3日CCI initiates White Leather Jaws 120mm investigation against TAM
The Competition Black Patent Leather Marcia Balla 40mm Commission of India on Friday has found prima facie material against India’s biggest television audience rating system TAM India of not presenting clear picture on what viewers like to watch on television and had asked its investigation wing to initiate a probe.
The commission issued the direction after hearing the Nude Patent Leather Marcia Balla 40mm petitioner national broadcaster Prasar Bharati and the respondents Tam India Research Limited, a joint venture of Nielsen (India) Private Limited and Kantar Market Research.
Tam India told CCI that it has installed 8,000 people meters to record audience choice of programme in cities with population of one lakh and above. There is not even a single people’s meter in rural India, TAM admitted before CCI.
"The sample size represented is very minuscule and narrow statistical base, keeping in view 120 million people watch television in India," the CCI said in its Silver Strass Marale 120mm order and added that rural audience has been completely ignored. "It is apparent that TAM was not displaying true picture regarding TRP of Doordarshan, which has large presence in rural areas," the commission said.
The CCI also said that within the television industry about 34 % of revenue comes from advertisements and TRP was the basic criterion that indicated the popularity of the programme.
"The rating generated by TAM has great bearing on advertisement revenue of a channel. In such a situation any abuse of the dominant position by TAM can have adverse consequences for broadcasters besides affecting the interests of the consumers," the commission said, while stating that prima facie TAM was indulging in practice of denial of advertisement market.

2015年6月3日city council approves Katz Group arena deal very similaIt was about an hour Black Patent Leather Mater Claude 100mm and a half in when Mayor Stephen Mandel called a time out.Five Edmonton Oilers Jordan Eberle, Taylor Hall, Nick Schultz, Shawn Horcoff and Ryan Smyth were there, sitting in the front row of council chambers for Arena III.With the usual dog and pony show council insists on conducting, especially when the chamber seats are full and the cameras running, the mayor interrupted proceedings to speak to the players who by this point may have looked like they really rather have been going through a bag skate at practice.is our world. Your world is a little quicker than our world, said the mayor. is your punishment. Don ever allow six goals in first period again. Otherwise you have to come and sit here again. that was their punishment, what about the rest of us?By the end of the day the new downtown arena deal was approved. It should have been a great day. But in exasperated Edmonton, after half a decade of dragging the deal through the mud, with an owner holding Edmonton feet to the fire while running farce fakes to move the team to Hamilton, Quebec City and most recently Seattle, there was no dancing on the snow covered streets.Indeed, until there a hole in the ground in August, nobody is likely going to totally, 100% completely, believe they be watching the Oilers play in the place in 2016.Oh, the done deal quotes were all there in the end.we have an absolute deal that will go ahead, said Mandel, who proclaimed this kind of project we will not be the city we can be. This is a great day for Edmonton and we are excited to get to work on realizing this incredible opportunity. all of that. It was all of that almost three years ago when NHL commissioner Gary Bettman invited your corresponded down to Katz suite at a Canucks playoff game in Vancouver for a rare interview with the reclusive owner, the first time the deal was approved. It was all of that when this columnist was in New York when the framework was worked out for the second passing of the deal.Katz, the day he bought the Oilers, wanted his legacy to be the arena and downtown entertainment district. But it might be more Mandel today. Having had enough he called the bluff and said no to the billionaire owner. And the second star Gary Bettman. His image is mud in 29 other NHL cities after the lockout, but Bettman has once again done right by Edmonton, not only in putting it back together in New York but flying to town Friday to do it again, and signing off on a 35 year location agreement with Katz while he was at it.It essentially the same framework for a deal they voted to approve after Mandel, Katz and Bettman put it together in New York in October of 2011.Indeed, at one point city manager Simon Farbrother, who estimated there been meetings between the two sides, came out and said it: percent of this material which has been put in front of you has been here previously. deal. Like the lockout, there was no reason to have put everybody through this. And the lockout was only 113 days. The second agreement went sour when costs went from $450 million to $480. Fifteen months later the city and Katz Group ended up agreeing to split the increased costs. Like you, me and the bartender couldn have come up with that solution in 20 minutes over a couple beers. It costing the city $15 million more for the 18,559 seat, iconic state of the art arena which, fortunately, wasn downgraded through any of this.As for the so called $100 million from the province, which has never seemed to be a concern to Mandel, it now no concern at all, he indicated.absolutely confident, said the mayor. After all this, in Mandel you must trust. >but Once a Patrio
2015年6月3日but Once a PatriotAfter almost losing a leg for America, Benedict Arnold expected more.Admired by revolutionary leaders, twice wounded in courageous fighting, Arnold could easily have seen his accomplishments chiseled onto every Revolutionary War Blue Suede Mago Two Tone 140mm memorial in the country. Instead, his name is a historical sneer. His unforgivable act of treason has often been attributed to a flawed character, but the real story is sadder and more complex. After so many sacrifices, he became disillusioned with the war’s progress. Perhaps even more important, he grew deeply mistrustful of the cause’s civilian leaders and, ultimately, Arnold himself felt betrayed. "This was a man who began in 1775 as the most ardent of patriots," says James Kirby Martin, a history professor at the University of Houston, "but he grew to feel that turning back to England would be the best course for the country."Arnold was the second of six children born to a close knit and prosperous family in Norwich, Conn., in 1741. His mother sought solace in religion and his father in alcohol after three of Arnold’s siblings died of diphtheria. Expecting to attend Yale, the 14 year old was instead apprenticed to an apothecary in New Haven. When his mother died and his father turned into the town drunk, Arnold had an Suede Maillot 160mm early taste of the disgrace that would color the rest of his life.Ambition and business acumen propelled Arnold from merchandising to international trade. He had made enough money by 22 to buy back the family homestead sold to pay his father’s debts. He resold it at enough of a profit to buy a fleet of ships. In 1767, he married the daughter of a prominent Freemason. But soon squeezed by oppressive British taxes and policies, which imperiled his livelihood, the short and intense patriot devoted himself to Black Suede Mago Two Tone 140mm resisting British tyranny by joining and then leading the local chapter of the Sons of Liberty.Hannibal. Untrained and poorly equipped troops frustrated Arnold, so he used his own money and time to train patriot forces. In May 1775, he helped launch an attack on the small British fort of Ticonderoga. A bloodless victory whetted his appetite for military maneuvering and led to Washington appointing him commander of 1,100 men for a campaign against Quebec. Three hundred fifty miles the troops trudged through rain, snow, and ice, reduced to eating candles, dogs, and shoe leather. The Americans’ march through the Maine wilderness earned Arnold the undying respect of his men and the nickname "America’s Hannibal." During Arnold’s recovery from a musket ball to the leg, Thomas Jefferson praised him before the Continental Congress.Yet Arnold never truly felt his nation’s grati tude. Petty jealousies kept his name off lists of promotions. Inferior military officers generated rumors that pockmarked his reputation. The courage and stam ina shown by Arnold and the Americans impressed the French enough to help convince them to join the war and provide critical support to the struggling rebels. But Arnold received a near fatal shot to the same leg wounded at Quebec and would never walk again without a limp. While Arnold lay immobilized in an Albany hospital, his commander, Major Gen. Horatio Gates, peevishly claimed credit for the British surrender. "Bedridden and helpless, Benedict Arnold gnashed his teeth at the distressing thought of ’Granny Gates’ receiving honors won by the blood and grit of better men," writes Palmer.Reassessing his sacrifices and rewards, Arnold grew bitter. He was financially strapped, his wife had died during his absence, and his personal honor had been attacked. "Poison may have stopped oozing from his Black Suede Maillot 160mm leg," Palmer writes, "but his heart remained full of rancor."

2015年6月3日Bowie looks to take next playoff step
The county’s 4A high school volleyball teams will begin their first season of matches under rally scoring one week from Multicolor Leather Maggie 140mm today with one common goal reaching the state playoffs.
Bowie, which returns three starters from last year’s Class 4A South Region champion team, is a solid favorite to repeat. The Bulldogs Black Leather Maggie 140mm not only return junior outside hitters Kristin Buter and Kim Dormer, they should also have the services of junior middle blocker Heather McDaniel this fall. McDaniel missed nearly the entire 2002 season with injuries.
"I remember coaching against them last year," said McFadden, who was the head volleyball coach at Parkdale the previous two seasons. "They’re definitely a very talented group of young ladies. Kristin and Kim both really love playing the game. I think having them back and getting Heather back will certainly help. We’re working on finding a setter, but there are three girls who can set from what I’ve seen in practice."
Bowie will hand the setting responsibilities to either Christine Kelleher, Lauren Chrisner or Joanna Murrays. All three will have big shoes to fill after following in the footsteps of Stephanie Critchfield, the Black Watersnake Maggie 140mm 2002 Star/Gazette Player of the Year and Embrey Minor, the school’s all time assist leader (1,837) who now plays for Rider University.
Buter, a Star/Gazette first team selection last fall, and Dormer, a Star/Gazette second team choice last season, will present a formidable one two punch at the net from their opposite outside hitter spots.
"We’re really looking forward to this season," said Buter, who along with Dormer attended both the American University and Penn State University volleyball camps this summer. "Last year we made it to states with only two seniors. Most of us are back for another year, so we’re anxious to get started. I know we play some tough Gold Glitter Maggie 140mm teams out of county, but that will help us get ready for the county teams."
Both Buter and Dormer also have something else in common. They are following in the footsteps of older sisters who thrived at volleyball. In the 1990s, both Jen Buter and Lauren Buter were instrumental in leading the Bulldogs to seven straight region titles and one state championship appearance. Kristine Dormer was a powerful outside hitter at Seton, a Star/Gazette first team choice as a senior and a starter at Rider University.
"We’re very excited about the season," Dormer said. "We made it to states last year and we want to get back there this year and again next year. I’ve worked on my hitting and I think Kristin and I have both improved a lot since last season."
